Nick Linholm has practiced law since 1990, with a special focus in the aviation industry. Since 2011 he has represented Gilchrist Aviation Law’s clients, both nationally and internationally, in matters involving buying, selling, leasing and financing aircraft. At Gilchrist Aviation Law, he specifically is interested in matters relating to the Cape Town Convention, the Federal Aviation Act and the FAA Aircraft Registry.
Mr. Linholm oversees the closing preparation and post-closing team, where he manages legal assistants, supervises aircraft title examinations, document preparation, and coordinates International Registry services.
Mr. Linholm earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Oklahoma State University where he was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society. He later earned a J.D. from Oklahoma City University. He is a member of the Oklahoma, Oklahoma County, and American Bar Associations. He is admitted in all Federal Courts for the State of Oklahoma, the Tenth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Linholm is a supporter and frequent volunteer with Autism Oklahoma, Boys & Girls Club of Oklahoma County, Habitat for Humanity, and Free to Live Animal Sanctuary. He is also a former board member at Dwight Mission and a Session member at Westminster Presbyterian Church. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and his three Labrador Retrievers.
